be still my heart

A dear friend of mine sent this to me this morning and she really knows my tendency to just over-complicate things and worry myself into this other level.

Yesterday I listened in on this show that talked about clearing your mind and just being in that position where your mind has room to think and to contemplate things.

This kinda tires in with my new thing, to just look for that one thing that I am grateful for and to just focus on that instead of the tiring, mundane activities that I might instead opt to look at.

Today, I am grateful for the bus ride to work and the time it allows me to think about my paper and the other myriad things in my life.

    THANKS.

  3. Clearing your mind? Sounds very new age and meditation like to me

NOT IN THAT WAY, SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED TO THINK THROUGH THINGS AND ITS HARDER TO DO THAT WITH A PRE-OCCUPIED MIND. THAT’S ALL I’M DRIVING AT.
